The Journey: Five Steps to Stability
Enrollment & Stabilization
Parents enroll in American Rebirth Bridge and receive safe, stable housing as the foundation for recovery and growth. Our intake team works with each participant to understand their needs and develop an individualized support plan.
Skills & Employment
Participants receive job training, career development support, financial literacy classes, and employment assistance. We focus on building sustainable career pathways, not just temporary jobs.
Budget & Financial Responsibility
Once employed, participants work with staff to develop a comprehensive monthly budget that includes rent, emergency savings, and their child support obligation. We help residents understand their obligations and stay on track with their financial goals.
Direct Payment & Accountability
Participants make child support payments directly through official DCSE (Division of Child Support Enforcement) or other court-approved payment methods to ensure proper crediting. American Rebirth Bridge provides budgeting support, tracking, and accountability—never collecting or forwarding payments directly.
Family Reunification & Long-Term Success
As financial stability improves, participants work toward strengthening relationships with their children through family counseling, visitation support, and co-parenting guidance when appropriate. Our goal is helping parents become active, positive figures in their children's lives.
